Pre-Planning

JMS provides pre-planning engineering input for developers, architects and landowners who need to understand whether a site or proposal is technically viable before committing to the next stage.

Early review can highlight issues around ground conditions, drainage, flood risk, levels, access, retaining structures, basements, utilities and likely abnormal costs. These are often the constraints that shape planning strategy and development value.

The team can prepare feasibility advice, flood risk assessments, SuDS strategy reports, basement impact assessments and supporting engineering notes for planning submissions.

The purpose is to make risk visible early, allowing the client and design team to make informed decisions on scope, budget, programme and planning route.
