Flood Risk Assessments

Flood risk can affect planning, layout, finished floor levels, drainage strategy, access and long-term resilience. JMS prepares flood risk assessments that help clients understand and manage those constraints early.

The assessment considers flood zone data, local flood history, surface-water risk, site levels, climate allowance, drainage behaviour and the proposed use of the development.

JMS sets out practical mitigation measures where needed, including level recommendations, drainage coordination, exceedance routes and resilience considerations.
